Rest

Thankful for being able to rest, for the flexibility of work allowing me to take time off when I need to, & having an understanding boss.

That I got to lie & see how I felt, & then go back to bed. For audiobooks and podcasts, activities I can do lying down my eyes shut, & as I felt a bit better I have crafts that're easy to do while lying down.

That we got to the house safely, had a good look around, & found out about another.  That there are still potential properties around.

That husband made lunch, & there was plenty of food available in the house.  That there's milk & he made me hot chocolate.

There's plenty of colours I need for the rainbow & I'm enjoying doing it.  It's coming along nicely.

Gaming

Thankful for my day off.  That I have the freedom to log on if I wish and just do what I can. 

That a friend invited me out, and a nap after counselling had me ok enough to go out.  Glad I took a book to read, and that parking was OK.  Loads more was open than previous times I went and it was a good walk and chat. 

Pleased with myself for grabbing juice instead of hot chocolate, and that we got a table and the weather was good for us.  That I got home safely and perked up after another nap which got us to gaming and back.

Happy I found the gaming group and braved going, & that husband comes with me too.  That we were there early enough to join the main game. 

For husband making life easy, that he's easy going and sorts out the decisions so I don't have to.  That he came back to bed so I got an extra cuddle today.

The thing I was wondering about dropping out of in Saturday is cancelled, husband being in work means I have a 12 o'clock lunch friend.

Work

Thankful that a colleague came over to the other dept with me, to carry the heavy stuff & to let me in. & that he offered to come back & help.  That we got on OK today, & he sat with me long enough for me to pull myself round a bit.

That I noticed my mistakes and corrected them, & by the end of the day all the paperwork was in order.  And that I had a suitable place to request help and someone provided the link I needed, & managed to get access to a working printer.

Several people stopped to talk to me today & we had friendly exchanges about hair.

It was dry as I was walking around to / from car & lunch.  That the curry at lunch was nice and we stayed chatting instead of the walk I was going to drop out of.

That the other guy whose help I needed was available and I'm mostly sorted.  That I'd done everything correctly = big phew!  & an idea paid off so we have a work around for out urgent thing.

Parking angel

Thankful to be up and ready for the shop when it opened. That there was a space right outside the shop I wanted and it was easy to reverse in.  The van next to me had gone by the time we came to leave so i had a clear view. 

Also managed a quick trip to the health food store while husband went for peanuts - & he found some samosas which he said were gorgeous - & bought more on his way back past.

For being able to park by the market & remembering to pay & display.  First time I've seen a traffic warden here so I know they exist. 

That I remembered curtains when we got in so we went straight back out and it was easy to pull put out at the main road.  Curtains the right size were on offer.

That husband got new washing line and I threw the hateful old one out.  That I enjoyed being out barefoot on the grass while I hung the clothes.

Work

Thankful I got to speak with my boss.  That he's approachable and makes time for us and I feel better after speaking with him.

That the others are easy to get on with in a work sense and in general I like the team I'm in.  For the sister team and that there's usually someone around for lunch.  And I could sit with the wider team.  Thankful restrictions are lifted and we have the big tables and social seating in the canteen.  

That the injections went smoothly and workmate was able to come over and help.  Also he got some inside view of that dept.

For my sweet ever fabulous husband taking care of me.

For aircon in the car.  For having a good, reliable car and being able to afford servicing and repairs.  That I can drive and have a short commute.

Care

Thankful the boss took the time to check-in with me.  That he's appreciative of what I do.  And that he stated again that I can disappear whenever - just let him know.

That the office is cool and I was happy enough in my work sweatshirt.  That we sat inside at lunch where it was pleasant.  For a workmate going early so we didn't have to wait for the others.

That husband cooks for me, & makes the effort to provide tasty, healthy food - with things I like.  Even though it was hot he still cooked.  

The port in the other lab was ready and I flew through the setup - thankful the support guy was ready and instantly did what he needed to.  Someone is in tomorrow to take care of the next part with me and there's the opportunity to get another system finished.

That I did my bit as far as the other stuff goes, & I have passed it back.  Also gives me a concrete example to say to the boss.

Had a few good exchanges with friends tonight.  Plans to meet a friend over the weekend.  Thankful one sent me to bed, & a second suggested it.  That husband got the waterflosser - he does his research.  And that he looks after me.

Gaming

Glad the shopping arrived early and husband came with me.  That he enjoyed it - we all had fun.  Also glad he came so there were enough of us to play the game.  That we managed to get a booth with a table and there was enough room for us to fit the game on

Glad I figured out the way home & I reckon next week I won't be needing directions.

Managed to get some rest today.  Glad I hadn't arranged to meet anyone.  Also Glad of the lie in and the lazy day. 

Updated the tracker so I didn't need to email the boss - hopefully can provide updates as needed.

That husband feeds me, and remembered to ask if there was anything I wanted for the shopping order.
