Glad to have a free evening 

To lie on the sofa with husband and relax, for the recliner 

For the tyre pump and it being quick and easy to use, & the tyres were fine after being pumped up

That it was mostly dry today and I got my walk at lunch

Wasn't needed for the audit

That I get to have an early night 

Sunny

Thankful we got in ok, another easy parking space.

I like the hot chocolate from the canteen - think they've changed it.

Cheese toastie at lunch was a good choice, I enjoyed it. 

Got out for a walk along the nature trail which passed the time I was waiting for husband.  And now I know how long and how far it is (half hour from desk, 1.6km)

Got caught up on what I needed to - & found the previous logs so we know the template

Husband's review went well

Writing class was OK, 

Got out for a few breaths of fresh air too, my usual wanders

Work

Work visitors left early so we got home at a good time

Got a space in the near carpark

Managed a couple of extra walks over to the canteen for some fresh air

The new curry is yummy, thankful husband cooks and makes nice food for us

Enjoying my cross stitch and slower pace of life

That there's plenty of space in my life for fun and rest

It was dry today

That husband plays games with me, amd having the space for storage and play.

Heating and hot water

And a big warm cosy bed.

Outside

Got the key battery replaced, mother's day card posted, & husband got what he wanted from the shop.

A walk over to get lunch.

He made a new batch of curry, very nice.

Renewed my membership at the Gardens and enjoyed a wander.  Warm and dry.  Cafe was still open and I got some new cards. Also a nice scented soap that's scenting the car.

The fountain was on, soothing.

Enjoying my cross stitch, am nearly finished the awkward bit.

Have a lovely house and comfortable life.  Thankful for abundance and freedom.

Company

Glad I went on the walk, the weather was nice and I remembered my walking boots.

Got my washing done

Husband got to try out his new batter and it worked well.

He made me hot chocolate 

Prefer the new game to the original.

Went for a cuppa with Friend after walk

Enjoyed chatting with friend & we got the extra walk round the woods

Got a few more ideas for places to go.

Got a mother's day card and plenty of time to post it, also reminded Friend in time for her to get hers posted

Progress

The pork balls at lunch were really nice.

Workmate remembered the chocolate he promised me.

Managed to get a lot of things completed workwise, including chatting with someone I'm friendly with who got things moving.

Friend has joined the walk tomorrow

Enjoyed a couple of hours on my cross stitch, noticeable progress now.

Last week's holiday was approved

It was nice enough to get my flowers planted

Thankful we went tonight.

For inviting friend, her accepting, and us travelling down together.  

For having the chance to chat.

That she mentioned not having a blanket in time for me to lend her one, & she was glad of it.

It fit into one of the borrowed bags which reminded me to return them.

That it was an small class and we got lots of time with bowls on us.

That I suspected the second round and rolled back over in time to be included.

It was a good experience tonight, I feel much lighter after it.

Basics

Thing workmate was stuck on was really easy to resolve.

Made it in time for the meeting.

There were enough chairs in the next meeting and we got out quickly.

Glad I had my water

Made it to writing class

Got a seat with the rest of the team.

Husband got me Reese's eggs as a treat, & hula hoops

Survival

My optimism and energy was recognised in an important meeting today by the director.  

Other people got more enthusiastic as the meeting progressed. 

I survived the meeting.

I also got to it on time remembering my cup and getting my hot chocolate.

Husband made me lunch and brought it to me while I was busy working.

Eventually made my way through everything that needed it today.

 

Got a catch up with the boss about the progress of everything and got lots of things tidied up.

New books arrived and I'm looking forward to curling up with them when I can't face anything else.

For now I'm happy with the tiger cross stitch.

Writing

I got another story written - the one that came to me the other week.  

We discussed it during counselling which gives me a timescale for the idea. 

It's short enough for a flash fiction entry and has the potential to be expanded into a longer story.

Or not, I love having the freedom to choose.

Picked up my dragon book and remembered yesterday I'd asked for help clearing writer's block and it had happened!  

Thankful to have met the people I have, & for my connect with dragons. 

For the resources and support I have access to.

That I sent the request on to the boss and he replied straight away.  That I was still online for that, & got the first step taken care of today - setting ourselves up for success tomorrow.

Also logged in later and saw an issue from a team mate that I may have been able to explain.

For the flexibility to work as I'm able and  working from home means sometimes logging in evenings after I've recovered a bit

Beat husband using his strategy

He emptied the compost while I was taking this week's bin out.

He washed my cup to pour my hot chocolate into.

Feeling much better today, just tired, & I have the freedom to nap as needed.

Managed to help a colleague out really quickly, reassured that I am on form.

Rest

Thankful for being left alone to sleep.

That it's quiet here and I can nap 

That there are no obligations or demands of me.

Husband suggested exactly what I was thinking for dinner.

Found the solo rules of the game I was playing

Remembered to phone my parents & they're fine

Thankful for my boss.

For the freedom to go back to bed as needed.

For lemsips in the cupboard and a supply of honey.

That I got myself to the sound bath.

That I got to do the crystal course and remember to do treatments on myself.

For the ability to do Reiki as well 

For friends with shared interests.  

That she likes the tarot deck she bought.

That I thought to offer someone to come round to game and that their response was enthusiastic. 

For being able to rearrange the scan and neither being during audit week.

For my cosy hoodie from husband.  That he gets me really good presents, & knows how to treat me.

For my bed, being warm and cosy.

Valentine

Dropped husband off and got to appointment on time.

Got to ask questions and have a sensible conversation. 

Blood sugar level is fine, that was the one I've been bad with lately (loads of chocolate and late snacking).

Swept up the glass while waiting for husband.

Glad of the flexibility ans reduced hours so I don't have to make any back for this morning.

Made it to the woods and enjoyed my walk.  Glad it was dry and fine.

Collected husband before the traffic was bad.

Workmate loves the scarf.

Made it to gaming, & the alien one is fun with 6 players as expected.  

Got my new games and the one has lovely pieces in - looking forward to playing it. 

Got my receipt for the course fees.

Thankful for insurance and healthcare.  Also for the house and being able to put the heating on when I want.  For the shower and hot water, for my nice cosy bed.

Got my next submission in, thankful for the course, & having enjoyed it, & the confidence in my writing it gave me.

Also for the insights from counselling today.  Glad I found someone I like & enjoy talking with.  Remembered to cancel the audit week session.

Got to catch up with boss.  Am on top of everything as usual.

Got to the library, glad they exist, & I picked up more books.  Wasn't much later back to the car than husband.

Thankful for everything I have.

Got out and had a walk.  That it was dry when I did. Thankful for my health & fitness & for the ability to take care of it.

Work

Thankful for an easy day and being able to start relatively late.

That I got out for a couple of walks and the weather was good.

Made Pilates and realised how sore my back is - reminder to get a massage.

For general good health and relative fitness.  That i' capable of going for walks, being able to get up off the floor etc. 

Tha we have money for treats, & I got a few more games coming.  

For modern appliances like the fridge and freezer, & the microwave.  For living in comfort and safety.

For the space for hobbies like gaming and Pilates.

Holistic fair

Thankful we met for breakfast, & I braved asking off-menu.

Found some boots I like, & will go back & see if they have them in my size.

Met local gallery owner & husband may come to their open event with me.

Only had one hot chocolate & then switched to peppermint tea

was a lovely day, enjoyed chatting outside while we waited.

Arrived at a good time

Got a walk in to the shops and back, & they had a cake husband likes

Plus I made the right choice getting him a drink & the one I picked.

Glad the half of the spring roll I ate was the one with all the filling in.

Thankful I thought to check on Sunday's cafe (closed) in time for us to pick an alternative.

That we have nice things and a comfortable life.  I still look at the house and think wow.

Friends to do things with.  Similar hobbies.

And friend is driving tomorrow so I get a lift.

Dinner was a success.  

Glad I looked into the games because actually I don't think they're suitable.

Easy day workwise and we're finally getting to the end of the project.

Husband

Thankful to get up and to the doc's on time 

That I ran into a friend there and we had a quick catch up

She appreciated the grid I did for her friend

Got back to work at a reasonable time and managed a decent number of hours

Boss agrees with my recommendation and workmate says he'll implement it

Made pilates 

Husband has cooked for tomorrow - thankful he's prepared to host my friends, & put the effort into cooking nice things.

He indulges me - so tonight we played one of the new games.  It'll be better with more players - another one we can pull out tomorrow / for gaming club

Rest

Husband rolled over to put an arm round me while I was restless.

Made it to the shop at lunch so I got 7000 steps today & it stayed dry for my walk.  

His things came this morning which was convenient, & I missed the door to door people while dropping him at work.

Plenty of breakfast arrived & thankfully they had a flavour I like

Read the submission guidelines properly, can enter my other story.  

Got excited about writing.

Got excited about the data science course too, she replied instantly with the invoice so I'll pay that this weekend.

Made it to gaming and the first game ended at a good time for me to leave.  

Early night & resisted snacking.

Got up to start at a reasonable time to manage a 7.5 hour day

Went to the other pet shop, someone let me out at the bottom of the road, & someone else let me out from the pet shop.

Got a short walk in before the worst of the rain.

Snuggle on sofa with husband.

Glad I bailed on class.

He made me hot chocolate when I asked, & ordered pizza for tea.

Found more games and ordered a few.

Enjoying the cross stitch.  Am on the easier bit now

Confident i'll have a few things closed before the audit.

Got my new crystal trays into the drawer - glad they fit.

Rested

Thankful for a lie in, for the day off.

Husband watched a film with me & stayed to watch episodes too- big dose of husband.

Got out for a run-walk which was just as well because friend bailed on walk.

Friend agreed better to meet beforehand for breakfast in case the others are late and I changed the meet details before anyone signed up

Phoned my parents, mum was chipper.

Thankful I remembered to phone for my medication & that they got it right.

For the sofa day I needed and the scarf getting back on track.

Did my writing homework & it wasn't so bad in the end.

Husband made yummy dinner, as always.

Made it to the crepe stall and there wasn't a queue so I treated myself.  Had it finished before I got back to the car.

Also no queue at the cash point so I got money out.

Have plans with friends.  Thankful for both the plans and having friends. 

Solved

Got my code fragments to work and created a combined one that I'm really impressed with 

Saw text from boss before I rolled over to spend the morning in bed.  Easy fix - phew.

Made it to the chemist for more spray.

Was dry for my walks.

Husband gave me a big cuddly hug.

He found a film for us to watch.

Discovered Monday's a bank holiday 🥳
