Calm & organised

  • she liked her jar of stars, I'm glad
  • lunch was good on the comfy sofas, a leisurely lunch
Calm, the people around me seem calmer, I am calmer.  Everything's always ok in the end.  I should skip the bit where I fret. I have that ability, & I know how to use it.
  • have been pointed in the direction of useful resources.
  • I like reading, I spent some leisurely hours at the weekend reading.   I have plenty enough to keep me entertained
  • Shopkeeper found Christmas paper for me so I wrapped niece's present ready.

stars & friends

  • My glitter strips arrived today, & I've been folding them into lucky stars.  They are so lovely, the red ones look like red velvet almost.  & then I ordered some little jars to stick them in.  I think they'd make lovely little presents.  If the jars arrive in time then I shall give one to a workmate I'm having lunch with on Monday.

  • I'm thankful for the people I have around me, that I have a lunch crowd.  We filled the overflow table today.
  • The canteen was empty enough to allow us to have an overflow table. & husband ordered my lunch so it was ready just after I got there.

  • I got an experiment finished.  Properly written up too.  Workmate is eventually working his way through & it's correct so far. & hopefully that's the last piece of unstructured practical I'll be doing.

  • I am much calmer now, & when I find problems I can make suggestions, knowing it won't be me needing to sort it out.  I have a more balanced reaction to it now, especially the lab.

car reminders

  • Thankfully when I carelessly drove the car over a kerb no-one was hurt.
  • The car let me know the tyre was flat so I didn't drive on it
  • I have an inflator in the car so I could pump up the tyre & it held pressure long enough to get me to the garage
  • leaving the car in the garage & walking home & back gave me my steps for the day & I enjoyed the walk
  • I can afford the work on the car
  • I kept my good mood & shrugged it off as carelessness but no real harm done
