Phew

Lunch was fun.

Being in the office was fun too.

Survived the full day

Got my laptop fixed, & there was someone available in IT when I turned up.

Got to speak with my boss

And help out friend 

Had a couple of walks over to the coffee machine and resisted hot chocolate. 

Finished show with husband.

Gor the new workflow trialled and it looks good.

Work

Glad I made it to work at a reasonable time.
The scarf's a hit.
Had a laugh with team mates.
The class liked my story
Friend is much happier at work, new job is suiting her
Fitted in weights before dinner arrived.

Timings

I got to the dentist on time, & remembered to ask for my form - she'll post it out.

Plenty of spaces in carpark.

Teeth are fine.

Had time on the parking to get to chemist and a few things for husband.

Also got myself a shampoo bar to try.

Interesting conversations with husband.

The ribbon was long enough to tie round the scarf and it's in my bag ready for tomorrow.

Enjoyed a TV show I'm watching while I crochet.

Got a reason to go to work tomorrow, helping a friend.

Watch buzzing when phone rings means i can answer it - without needing it off silent.

Beach

Thankful for a cosy bed and a lie in.

That the weather was fine, dry and above freezing.

That we found the beach OK and enjoyed a pleasant walk.

Chatting with them was useful 

The cuppa was well timed too and I got to pay.

For the computer skills to do typing and online courses.  That I can phrase my questions effectively for search engines and chatgpt, & it gave me positive comments about my story, & it have me useful insights about the other story.

Husband is happy to cook for friend & her son, I imagine it'll be a good night.

Got the mistakes from the other night unpicked.  

Story

Got my story finished.   

Thankful for friend and husband reading it.  

Got story sent off, well before deadline.  

Husband got roulade as a treat - yummy.

Made a start on the garden, just able to carry the breezeblocks.  .  

And got back to my tiger cross stitch.

Fun

Work was a good laugh.

I got the scarf finished

There were wedges at lunch!

My over-booked afternoon calmed down.

I saw the painting, & the new lab, & the chocolate had been refilled.

I did weights with husband

I've got my story to 1000 words

friend has invited me out to the beach on Sunday.

Games

Thankful for getting out for a few mins for a walk.

That everyone else was running late so I got my dinner before heading out.

Husband made me hot chocolate when I got home to make up for the work machine being empty. 

That I went gaming and it was fun.

We won, & remembered a phone for the newsletter.

My boss messaged to ask if I was OK to go to site the next day. 

Managed a bit more of my story.

Hobbies

Glad gaming was fun, & quiet.
That I felt much better after a nap & headed out.
For the freedom to finish early for said nap.
We figured out the issue in one software, & I successfully troubleshot the other.
Husband heard me say I wanted pizza for dinner & ordered it, & it arrived for me to get to gaming on time.
Glad the weather is better, warmer & less windy.
Got myself out for a walk at lunchtime too.

Support

Thankful for getting everything in hand workwise.

Team meeting was a laugh.

Finished the TV show we on, have enjoyed snuggling under the blanket

Enjoyed the meetup, thankful I have access to socials and ways to make new friends

Husband's foot looks to be improving.

Got a reply about the course, fee is reasonable and there's no word limit.

Shopping

Managed to get my certificates scanned.  

Have the stats module results uploaded behind my degree transcript.

Pleased with the progress - just my statement to finish tomorrow.

Watching a new show with husband to ensure he spends at least some time with his foot up.

Made it to the other crystal shop.  Finally got heart shaped cards amd picked up an inspiration deck for a friend.

Logged in and checked the thing the boss asked.  All was OK.

Remembered the stuff husband wanted and helped him do his toe - that all seems OK too.

Collected my boots and made it to the library.

Thankful it's warmer, don't even mind the rain.  Glad we can have the heating on and snuggle under a blanket on the sofa.

Exhale

Glad my boss is so sound.

Hospital was easy to find. 

Glad I filled the screenwash.

Had a little walk and got back before I got too cold.

That as I was getting cold and fed up husband called me through.  

They gave me tea and toast, and a bottle of water.

Wasn't needed for work afterwards, & can do a bit over the weekend.

Made it to the breathwork. 

Glad I got the opportunity for the free session. 

That the centre owner messaged (I'd forgotten to confirm).

Think it had an impact. 

Plenty of space in carpark. 

The course deadline has been extended again so I can finish my application over the weekend.

Friend enjoyed my stories.

Time

I'd already decided against gaming when I saw the sound bath advert.  There was a spare place so I went.  

The new mats are better and I had a spare cushion for under my hips.

Glad I braved rolling over, & that someone else had too.

Enjoyed it, and have a space on the breathwork session too.

Glad the tyre pressure sensor went off when I staying rather than a motorway trip.

Got my steps in walking to the chemist for husband and to the sound bath.

That the boss is easy going, and taking an hour off meant I could spare the time for the last minute doc review. 

My document suite is finally out for approval.

Productive

Work found me, so I have plenty to get on with.

My documents are reviewed, & ready to go for approval.  Big whoop.

The urgent thing got done in time, & with minimal effort on my part.

Husband washed the hot chocolate machine for me while I emptied the dish washer, I call that a win.

He also set up the camera for me for class tonight.  & class was enjoyable.

I'm more than halfway with my personal statement.

Calm

Glad I have enough work to do without being overloaded.

Husband made me hot chocolate and watched TV with me because I wanted to be cosy under a blanket on the sofa. 

Took the bin out for him when we were done. Easy way to do something nice for him.

Friend is much calmer now and seems happier.

Very happy to be staying home while it's so frosty outside.

Finally remembered to wash my gloves.

Walks

Happy to be snuggled into husband in the mornings.

For the big cosy bed and being warm.

That it was dry and clear when we set off and we arrived on time

That getting fuel was painless

Enjoyed the walk and the chat

Dinner was nice, husband just quietly getting on with it

That I'm enjoying the cross stitch.

For audiobooks and hobbies.

Friends

Thankful I have friends

For being able to get honest feedback and opinions

For getting to the woods for a walk and a chat.

That there are people who listen to me and let me get things off my chest, both now and in the past.

That I was able to recognise a work environment where I didn't fit, & find a new one before I came to much harm

Thankful for the opportunities I had and the position i'm in now.  And that I recognise how lucky I am.

My new teabag boxes are cute, & I especially like that husband pointed them out to me in the shop.

That he knows what I like

We've agreed on some stuff to declutter from the kitchen, & we have room to gather stuff together til I take it to the donation centre.  That there is a donation centre with easy parking and the stuff isn't going to waste

I managed to get the needle back that was stuck under the sheet.

For the hobbies I have, and that I am easily entertained.

Got to the library and the cobblers and the health food shop, got all my jobs for today done, including multiple trips with husband for the things he wanted.   

Work

Team meeting was fun, the boss turned up. 

Glad I got to work in time for my meeting.

And it was fun chatting with colleague, he fished out the ring and washed out the milk bottle for me.

Lunch was fun too. 

Got home at a reasonable time and enjoyed my evening.

Scarf is nearly finished.

Husband ordered us pizza, yummy.  And there's enough left for my lunch tomorrow.  

Have a handy lunchbag that came with one of tg2 takeaways.

Walked to the shop and got my 5k steps, also they had husband's second favourite black forest.  Glad I only got the one box of cans for him.

My new credit card works.

Boots are in the charity bag, am ready to let them go.

Meeting a colleague in work, convenient for lunch and when husband wants to be in.  Cam take the popcorn to join the pile in the work kitchen.

Finally started using onenote and see the potential. 

The scarf is done enough to take in tomorrow, see how long she wants it.  Am pleased with it.  Also enjoying unpicking the black one I started.

Heard from a couple of friends.

Started a new show with husband, and a new film on my own to crochet to.

Work

Training went well, and I enjoyed my hot chocolate.

My favourite thing out the hamper was in the kitchen so I got a bonus couple.

Enjoyed lunch with team mates

Meeting was relatively painless and I got to postpone the following one

Reassuring chat with boss, he's looking into another contract extension amd is happy with my work.  Got to ask for my own work and why.

Supermarket treats with husband

Remembered to phone my mum and it went better.  

Easy days

Thankful for flexi time, for an easy day and getting the cream scarf unpicked.

That I came home after dropping husband off ao I was toasty warm at home.

The new attempt on the scarf is going better.

Eventually got out for a short walk and it was dry and no ice.

Had fried potatoes for tea, they were good and better than throwing them out.

Curry out for tomorrow to be quick before gaming.

That the meeting is tomorrow and I got to choose the time (mid-morning) rather than being tonight.

Friends

Glad we got the calculation sorted and it was a fun chat.

Unmapped the form before anyone could use it.

The high five is my new favourite thing & I got to share it with a few people.

Survived the icy path and got out for another walk later.

Thankful for friends.  

For lazy mornings and lie-ins.

That I got up in time for breakfast and made it to the woods.

Glad I wore a hat.

Was dry.

That we went back to friend's rather than sitting around in the cold, enjoyed the chat.

Glad that other friend hadn't messaged about a walk and I'd missed that message.

We had plenty of fruit and veg today.

Friend is off so maybe we'll meet for lunch

Husband had the heating on so it was warm when I got home. 

Sent friend a writing prompt and it was good for me to write my own paragraph.

Crystals

Enjoyed reconnecting with crystals.

Treatment went well, was good catching up and I'll be better at it next time.

Got out to woods with a friend, in time to catch the drinks van.  Did the long loop.  Glad it was dry again.

Ordered more trays, & they will fit in the drawers.

Another invite to the woods tomorrow :)

Remembered to ask for my adventure book back and am enjoying it.

Did weights again, are definitely easier and I'm ready to move up a level.

Friends

Thankful for a colleague indulging me in a grumping session.  

All was well workwise.

Colleague messaged for reassurance after overthinking and it's nice that she trusts me to speak sense.  It also meant informing her of something important she hadn't been told.

Husband decided against going to work so we stayed home.  

Got to finish early and made it to the woods, enjoyed the good weather.  Glad the drinks van was still serving and I got a hot chocolate to keep me warm waiting for friend.  

Getting a small one meant I got a second so we could extend the chat and all the cars behind her were gone when it was time to leave.

Husband had dinner ordered when I got home, am thankful he looks after the meals.

Meeting friend after work rather than for lunch worked out much better.

Made a good omelette for lunch.  

Counselling was interesting, am glad I found someone with an approach that suits me.  

Found my crystal notes and got tips from a friend.  

Am sorted for tomorrow.

Made it to the supermarket with husband and found treats.  Also sensible items with extra for the food bank.

Am thankful we have plenty.

Provisional results are out.  Very happy with mine and the tutor feedback.

Made it to team meeting and had a laugh.

All is good and she's going to discharge me back to my GP.

Found the plasters I wanted and a different brand of ashwaganda.

Friend was free for a cuppa.  She liked the tea I took her and had enjoyed the story.  Took her the one I printed out for editing.

Got husband's prescription and have requested his document.

Made it to gaming and we enjoyed one of my games.

Also donated the cake.

Another person who offered to read my story said they really enjoyed it 

Grats done and tech off by 10pm! 

Found a springboard course that's online and 2 x 2 hours a week rather than 1 x 4 hours - so there are suitable courses around.

Reading

Thankful for a lazy start to work today.  

That no-one needed anything urgent and I got left alone. 

That it was dry when I went for my wander and I remembered to post my dad's birthday card.

Glad that I know how to read and enjoy reading.

For access to library books and ebooks.

For healthcare and insurance.

And being able to have the heating on.

For a warm safe house and plenty of space.

We have our stuff from the UK now and access to whatever we want.

Writing

Thankful for the holidays and the break from work.  For having the time to write and game and do whatever takes my fancy.

That I got round the woods and was back in the car before the heavens opened.  

That the woods are close enough for me to get to during lunch break, that the option is there.

Also that the roads were quiet and I got fuel for the car, ready for longer journeys tomorrow and Wed.

That I got my stories finished with a little help from husband and friend.  Thankful for friends who have read and commented.  

The book I want to read is in the library catalogue so I placed a reservation, proud of myself for not just buying it.

Also remembered a new bin calendar and managed to get a 2024 one, with husband's help.
