Trees

Thankful that I saw to the bunny before I left, that by the time I'd found somewhere to turn round and drive back past the woods that they were open.

That it was sunny while I sat & had my juice, and it was warm enough to sit on the swing on my coat so my bum stayed dry.  That the woods are quiet with a lovely atmosphere and I enjoy being there.  Going the "wrong" way on the trip home meant I went to the usual petrol station to fill up, & it was cheaper than the one on the default way home.  That I had a mask in the car so I could go in to pay.

For husband doing the cooking, and that he cooked instead of take-away today.  He did yummy roast potatoes.

That I got a supervisor shout out from last shift.  

That a friend reminded me I haven't mentioned crafts or colouring recently and it inspired me to paint a picture and mix up some paints I got last year.  I had a fun while playing with the paint & got a picture I'm impressed with.

Crystals & tarot

Thankful I remembered to take the photo of the cards this morning in natural daylight (they're so glossy they reflect the light & are a nightmare in artificial light).  That friend let me read for her and I enjoyed doing it, happy to be able to do something for her.

That husband has peeled & chopped carrot for me so I have something to snack on.  

That he built the latest scenario, & encouraged me to finish the last one we did.  That I've finally levelled up again.

That I enjoyed creating the spread and was inspired to turn it into a blog piece (& that I remembered to tell the blog wrangler that I'm not a free reader anymore in case it was still in the blurb).  That putting the picture into PowerPoint worked well for annotating it.

That I remembered a friend had asked me about crystal grids & so I was able to send on some links to useful resources.

That I remembered to call a friend & she was so happy to hear from us, & Jay even let me put it on speakerphone so she got a quick chat with him too.

That I've enjoyed my lazy day today.  

Hobbies

Thankful to have the day off, to be awake early & enjoy reading in bed.  That husband took the day off with me & for the bonus time together.  That we finally remembered to take the bottles to the bottle bank, & went to Lidl, & got a rake for the garden (I've been talking about that long enough).

That we enjoyed our game this afternoon, & husband set it up because I said I was fed up of doing it.  That we've found a new scenario to do, & it'll open a few more.  That there's still plenty in the game for us to enjoy, & I imagine many more hours of entertainment.  That it'll be fun to play with company too.

That we were finished dinner in time for volunteering & it was a quiet shift, & I know that time slot doesn't work for me.  That going downstairs to finish the show I remembered the bunny was still out.  She's happy with the kale husband remembered for her - glad he automatically buys her treats when he's shopping.

That there were spaces in the carpark at the woods.

That I got to chat with one of my friends today, actual conversation!

That I have plenty of books to read and enjoy reading.

Work

I've been much happier today, like my old old self.  The music is back in my head and I didn't even realise it was gone.  Glad we have devices to play music.  

Also glad I went into work & had a laugh with workmates.  That I got lunch & managed to stay reasonably hydrated.  That I made it home for most of Pilates.  That I got up & showered.

That husband set up the game for us and we breezed through it.

That my book arrived & I have tomorrow off to get stuck into it.  Glad I like reading & I have plenty of books, library ebooks and actual physical books. Glad I was brought up to love reading.

That parcel arrived to friend, & we're going to have a chat tomorrow - looking forward to it. Glad for tech and ways to keep in touch.

Also thankful for my job, that my varied and random skillset is actually a bonus and that I am likely to never need to take another lab job.  That's only become obvious with this latest job - it turns out bits of what I was doing is actually an established role.  Glad to be able to see my last job as a stepping stone and find some good from the experience of being there.

Feeding

Thankful that husband cleaned up so well after he dropped yoghurt pots that I would never have known.  That he mops the floor when he thinks they look dirty, & that he hoovers sometimes.  

That he does the cooking & makes the effort to get things that I like.  That we walked to the supermarket today to get the good spuds for roasting.  He went as afternoon break & came to see if I fancied the walk.

That I managed to get a satisfactory answer to an issue at work.

Friends

Thankful for friend joining me at lunch, & that it was nice enough to sit out.  Showing him the bunny gave us pets as a conversation.  That the days are lighter and warmer.  That we have central heating, and access to clean safe water.

That team meeting was a good laugh, & work are sending out chocolate to us for Easter.

That I remembered about the water folder & added those items into my work reports.  For closing out another action from my list.

That I remembered to message my mentee.  

That I've got some texter feedback, glad I made enough of an impression on someone that they completed the survey.

That I was able to cheer a friend up today.

For having friends to message and have a laugh with, for being able to share things that make me laugh and frustrate me. 

Laugh

Thankful that I wake up in the mornings & can get up and get on with my day.  That after getting up and seeing to the bunny & doing yoga I had time to get back into bed & snuggle into husband.

That it was warm & sunny & husband came for a walk before calling into the supermarket for bread for my lunch.  

That he does the cooking & treated me to roasties tonight & they were fab.

That I finished work in time for Pilates & can see that I'm getting stronger at some of the exercises.

That we had a good laugh at tier, & then later I had a laugh with a friend.
