Ice-cream

Glad I went to lunch with intern - the others were ridiculously late.  At least we got a table and they arrived just before we left.

Also thankful for the free ice-cream, & that I have a desk where I could leave it.

For getting the complicated instrument in progress and the help guy was available when needed - both of them.  And workmate raised the facilities ticket for me.

The next set are on their way, & the others are happy to use the tracker.  Looks like that's the push other guy needed to use it.

Thankful husband had tea started when I came home and there was time enough to lie down before it was ready.  That it 6pm when I looked at my watch - the time he said it'd be ready and we got it before it was too burnt to eat.

Health

Thankful that we have access to healthcare, & insurance, & can afford treatment.

That the roads were quiet (even for rush hour when I was driving back), & the car park was empty.

That I got to the library & found some good books.

That I managed my celtic cross

That I perked up a bit once I got to work, & survived the dentist.

That we had a quick catch-up in the office instead of the scheduled meeting & so I got to leave early.

That I am fit & healthy. & can walk & climb stairs etc.  That I can usually manage every day activities, & can take a break to recover when I can't.

Chatty

Thankful the walk went well, 

The dogs got on well

The people were chatty

The repair husband did on my cup has held

That I made it home to rest.

Husband cooks well for me, & found me a packet of chocolate brazils.

Timings

Thankful we got my document approved today.  That it was done early enough in the day, & the boss cancelled our meeting so I got to finish early - which I needed.

That there's a bus to the airport & husband agreed to catch it, & I got him to the bus stop in time, even after we turned back the first time to collect something he'd forgotten.  That he gets in at a more reasonable time tomorrow than he first told me & I'm thinking I'll be fine to collect him.

That the tesco delivery came just as we were thinking about leaving (which was a relief cos I'd forgotten about it)

That I felt better after resting up for the evening, & we had easy oven bake items in the freezer.  Also enjoyed the hot chocolate, glad we have instant so I didn't need to clear the velvetiser.

That I enjoyed the tarot reading I took, & it was an interesting write up & I had plenty to say.  Happy to not struggle with reaching the word count for a change.  Also that there's someone I'm chatting with on the tarot course, & that's encouraged me to do the course & I'm finding that interesting & thought provoking.

That the house bidding is still within our budget.

Work

Glad I managed to calm down before work, & got one of my problems sorted.  

Also progressed something else & managed not to be annoyed about it.   The instrument is as far as it can be for now and my paperwork is that bit closer

Glad I have supportive friend & reassurance that it's not just me.

For husband ordering dinner & having enough left over for lunch tomorrow.  That he feeds me at sensible times, and for free ice-cream at work but also that I resisted getting one and had the chocolate flake by itself.

Remembered to ask workmates about the airport & the drive doesn't seem too bad.  

That I reached out to someone again & this time they were more receptive so hopefully we'll make plans.

Social

Thankful the nearby gaming popped up on my feed and that I braved signing up and going.  That the carpark and the venue are easy to find and I arrived bang on.  It's a good venue & we got left alone outside - next week I can be a bit earlier and get a drink.  Maybe husband will come too.  Otherwise it's friendly enough & close enough for me to go on my own.  Better than the previous ones in the UK. 

That the car is reliable and good for journeys and comfortable.

For husband feeding me & I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.  That the chicken pakora was really nice & battered chicken as I expected.

That i'm enjoying the sims again.

Books arrived from friend and i'm enjoying reading them.  Husband pais my customs charge & that book has arrived now too.

Home life

Got what I needed done with the document & it was fairly straightforward.  

Managed to send sensible minutes from the meeting, & uncommunicative guy turned up with his update.  

Got most of a chore of a task done, ready to  complete tomorrow.

Got my 10,000 steps.  Being in work really helps with that, & I enjoy the company of the workmates who were in.  Favourite workmate is still intending on joining us for lunch when he switches dept.

That I've installed the sims again and am enjoying playing it.  That it remembered my password and husband helped with the install.   Also gave him the chance to tell me about his strategy  - he's getting chatty these days.  And he was talking to me at a sensible time (early evening).

That i got accepted into the gaming group in time for tomorrow's session, & I know which carpark to use, one that's easy to get to and free.   And I know to hold firm and turn right out of the carpark when I come to leave.  Is in a reasonably close town and I can manage the travel on a Wed.  Am excited about it.
