Fridays rock

• I woke early and it felt like I'd been asleep for ages.  An enjoyable lazy start to the day.
• A successful day at work, I got one of the restores to work, fun chat with the IT guy, was able to go to my boss with a plan of what to do next...
• IT guy walked in just as I was saying husband should ask him, they had a conversation without me being the go between, & IT guy suggested a useful check before he gets on with what's needed.
• The training was fun, started early & so finished in time for me to see the others at lunch, & a bit of overlap with the new guys which was also fun.
• My new books arrived!  & it's the weekend, plenty of time to read 😍🥰

Beach

• Had a reasonable day at work, fixed an issue all by myself.  Got inspired as I was having a wander.  
• Thankful for the opportunities to wander.   Followed a sensible trouble shooting path, am pleased with myself.  Also had a good laugh with the other dept & friend this morning. 
• There was a nice vibe in their office.  
• Got some filing done.  
• One step further to completing a massive project.
• Weather at the beach was really good, we had a lovely sit & chat, enjoying just sitting listening to the waves.
• I got my doughnuts!
• A wander along the beach, it was warmer than expected too.
• Interesting conversation
• Home to husband.
• Had the sense to eat before going out again, he went to the chippie
• Was home late cos of the beach so traffic was gone for our trip out.
• Met the IT guy on a wander, got my new pc set up (includes a new mouse & keyboard, can get rid of the manky old one).
• Next project can start tomorrow, fingers crossed it's painless.
• The patio was cleared so now I have somewhere to skip outside.
• The cooler weather means I can wear my wedding ring again now my fingers aren't swollen.

Family & friends

Thankful car service is all booked.  My dad took care of it.  Got it booked for the day I wanted, & he's willing to drive it there for me.  Got the day booked off work too.

Was near the really friendly one at Pilates again, & got to tell her how I enjoy how cheerful she is.  She said likewise. & I walked out with her too, for a bit more chat.  Thankfully was only at the door before I remembered to go back for my mat. & that I made it, I was late leaving work.  Also thankful I remembered to drop the key back in to security so I know it's safe.

Discovered something urgent that needs doing & the IT guy will help me.  Should be straight forward.  Also glad I figured out that there's plenty of room on the external hard drive, some data there's only one copy of is being transferred overnight.  I just got to the guy doing it on time, & he obliged.

Meeting a couple of friends at the beach tomorrow.  & the burger van's back - doughnuts!!

Went out for lunch with a friend, was good catching up.  Glad my boss is easy going about long lunches & making time back.  Have taken care of the couple of things he wanted me to do.  One of them was arranging a meeting with busy people.  Also had a casual encounter with someone I needed to speak to.  Discovered an issue & was pretty much able to start rectifying it straight away.

Had an enjoyable meeting / training session at work.  Just managed to make the timings work between data guy, & getting to Pilates.

Work days

I had a good day, left late & made it on time.  Had a catch up with someone on the walk from the carpark.
Made more progress on an IT project, inspired just before hometime.  Got agreement to use the other pc - painless.
Met friend at the beach.  Very happy to be so near the beach, & that I drove cos it was chucking it down when we came to leave.
Car service & visit to parents is hopefully arranged.
Thankful I have a reliable car & funds for repairs etc.

A day off, a lie in :-)

Felt better to drive the car, got into the garage.

Met a friend for lunch, so thankful she was available.

Thankful there's a drop in garage nearby, & they have tyres, I got them checked just in time & they were available to fit. Money in the bank to pay for it.

Weather was dry while we were outside.  Friend is happy to sit outside & avoid the noise.

A pleasant afternoon chilling.

Drive is down, & getting home later meant it was that bit dried before I stepped on it.  Footprint isn't that bad.

Lesiurely Sundays

Thankful I woke up before the alarm, & we had time to go to the tip.
The big bush husband chopped down is gone 👍
A leisurely morning.  Got to see big bunny eating the grass.

Went out locally instead of going up the coast, friend drove.  The car tyres will wait til tomorrow.
Fun chats, excited about the job.  Looks like somewhere useful to submit my cv in general.  Time to get on with it ;-)
Founds somewhere new to park for the market - so glad it wasn't me driving.  Restrained in the spending.  The smoky quartz looked irradiated so I wasn't tempted.
Book arrived, looking forward to reading it - later.

It's a habit

I got lost getting to meet friend.  Thankfully I wasn't in a rush, made it eventually & am getting better at just finding a way without panicking.  Also very thankful that I got safely across a junction I hadn't realised was a roundabout.

Made the right choice getting the bus all the way to where we wanted to go instead of walking the last 10 mins of the bus ride.

Picked good places to go, & mostly stayed dry.  Had a good catch-up.  Finally got to see the crystal collection in the museum (almost missed it).

The tyre warning alarm came on when I was in a housing estate so it was easy to pull over & check them (rather than being on the motorway or dual carriageway).  Very thankful I have an inflator in the car.  Years ago someone used a footpump to inflate my tyre at a petrol station where the air machine sucked all the air out my tyre, & off the back of that I bought one that worked off the ignition.
