On the bright side...

• something I wasn't going to enjoy was scheduled for the end of the day so I can come home & get over it 
• the sun is shining
• people were really helpful & gave me their time
• they gave me some helpful ideas
• I gave a couple of good presentations of my plans,
• non-specialists understood them, I was pleased with myself
• I'm pleased I arranged the meetings
• friends & husband have calmed me down
