The new expansions look good and I'd forgotten how cool the metal coins are

Got out for a quick walk while the weather was good

Getting to finish work early, but also being able to do an hour later on

The weather improved and we got our walk in relative dry

There are still plenty of flowers at the gardens and the trees are worth seeing 

There's an alternative to the 100 steps 

The cafe now does toasties and looks to be staying open through the winter

It was lovely being out and we paid more attention 

Husband played the game I set out and it's still one of his favourites 

I think I'm getting more decisive and quicker in games, things have changed a lot in the last few years (healthwise and treatment wise) 

Reminded today of how much progress we've made in work team

Got my solo game in, one I've previously played a lot

Am excited on a friend's behalf about a job she's applying for - fingers crossed for her

Going put with a different friend next weekend to the same gardens, am looking forward to it

Glad I confirmed one of the games on the cull list is really for the cull list, & it gave me a new entry in some of the challenges I'm in

The new game I bought looks really good - watched a couple of how to play guides

Got excited giving advice on how too get into reading in the ND group, and it was appreciated 

There's another meet tomorrow I'm looking forward to 

The project 2  meeting was much better than project 1, also very relieved team mate was there - he was well engaged with the process

Got husband his present

Visit to local shops rather than supermarket meant I saw the chemist and remembered to get my prescription (big relief, finished previous box of tablets yesterday)

Also got cash out and got a big note changed 

Remembered to phone my mum who was chattier than usual and other friend 

Got to Reiki session just on time & enjoyed it

Someone wants one of the cross stitches which is good - have some new ideas 

Stopped to get husband a burger as a treat

The roast pork was lovely 

Played a new game we've never included before and it's better than the base game, looking forward to playing again tomorrow    

We have the right size sleeves so we've switched all the cards in the game over and husband has ordered replacements

Fortuitous meeting with a colleague and got to voice her concerns in the new project

Had a nice chat with mentor buddy, been ages since we've caught up

Husband enjoyed his dinner, plenty to share and dinner for tomorrow is sorted

Had an easy afternoon - so I managed to stay online longer than I expected

Glad I have access to a doctor and got the HRT sorted and respond well to it

Got my builds finished, and reviewed

Remembered not to start the new ones til the old ones were cloned

Managed to get on top of everything I needed to, proud of myself for handling it all and remembering all the little tasks as well as the bigger ones

Got out for a walk at lunch, glad I took the shorter loop - less than ideal footwear

Got home before the worst of the weather

Husband ordered me the needle minder I wanted, should save me dropping the needles 

Made it to ball class, enjoyed it

Remembered to suggest Tues for gaming and workmate has agreed

That I got to the woods on time

It was dry for our walk

Friend identified the flower I took a photo of the other day

Was mostly dry for the walk to town and back

That husband takes care of things without complaint,

He respects my stuff and looks after the garden while I'm away - watering the flowers when he thinks they need it

Thankful it was dry while I was at the woods

Got parked easily and the paths were quiet

Husband did bacon when I got home and it was a good amount of cooked

He set up a legendary game for us, & we won

Am enjoying the new trilogy I started listening to

Having done the crystal course and being able to give myself a treatment

I got the big task finished up and we agreed I'd do corrections (if required) on Tuesday

Workmate suggested emergency bacon and it worked magic, we had a good chat too

There's a new season of a show we were watching so we have something to watch before my holiday

Managed to get into the car pool area,  and got a good parking spot in the main carpark when I came back

The book that became available isn't in the series, glad I noticed before I started listening 

Husband let me make him lunch

We got back to the car before the really heavy rain

Managed to get enough work done to give myself an easy day tomorrow

Social

Got a carpool space 

My desk was free and husband got a dual monitor place

Lunch was good, food was nice and the chat was fun

Glad we ate first then went for the eggs

Had a good chat with boss, all is well

Got home in time for husband's meeting, and in time for his delivery

Making decent progress on my tasks

Have reminded colleague of my holidays so we can plan the work around it

Enjoyed gaming with husband 

That we can afford the heating, the house is toasty warm again

 

Pottering

Got some interesting work to do, & had an idea

Boss agrees with idea & now I can propose it

Glad I went to the library & had a good mooch, got back to the car just after husband did

He ordered me treats when he got his dinner

It stayed dry til I was back in the car

Got my new plant into the garden

Thankful to be active enough to walk to the library, & to dig in the garden

That we have access to healthcare and can afford treatment

Rain

Thankful for the rain, that we have plenty of water, and greenery.

The garden is doing well, my new tree is looking good 

Husband has put the bin out, am thankful for the admin he takes care of, bins, shopping, cooking / meals

We started a game at breakfast and continued it through lunch and this evening.  That was fun, am glad we have space and time for games 

Started the thing I was avoiding and have sent it for comment

Also got the urgent thing progressed 

Plenty of work in the pipeline so I will be more engaged at work soon

Work are giving us Easter eggs, we get lots of treats from them

The software got installed on my pc and I got logged in 

Husband came upstairs to help me with it when I was stuck, glad he still helps without complaint 🥰

Friends

Friend and I met at nearby woods and had a good chat & walk.  Glad the original plan changed.

Meant I had time to enjoy breakfast with husband.

The bluebells are out, have plans to go to the bluebell wooda with friends.

Thankful to have friends.

Got all the bottles returned and husband remembered to spend the vouchers, also that I remembered to get bags while dropping the containers back to the car.

Finally rained so I don't need to think about watering the garden.

Energises today, did some star jumps ✨ 

Spent the afternoon playing board games with husband.

Glad he enjoys them,that we have a decent selection and space enough to play them

Dinner

The flowers in the town are nice

Found enough of the same size sleeves to finish the sleeving

We got a better table than usual.  The restaurant was fairly empty and the food seemed quick.  I made good choices and the sweet potatoes fries were fab

Getting out onto the main road was easy

We live in a nice place, and the bottom of the road has a nice open feel I've never appreciated before

Husband cleaned the floor and the place looks smart, I love the house and how we've set it up

Hobbies

Discovered a new cross stitch kit on the shelf

That I have spare brown to make it work and can avoid the metallic 

Did just enough metallic to know there's no way I'm doing the pattern as intended

Glad I have to ability to improvise and abandon things I dislike

Remembered to renew book and library membership, guy on the phone was really helpful

Team meeting was exceptionally good

The flexibility to work short days / take holiday and not having a to force myself to work

Rest

Having the flexibility to take time off as needed

That I felt better after a few hours off

The new crusty bread was great

Managed to get motivated to work on a document I said I'd update

Working from home, so I have the freedom to potter around, & not get dressed

That I got to do the crystal course, & I can do treatments on myself

Enjoyed gaming, we got to play something designed for 4 players that we've only played 2 player before

Glad Jay comes too so I don't have to be sat around on my own

It was really sunny & I got most of my washing dry outside

Love the house & the garden

Am lucky to have a good boss and team & a job I enjoy

Exercise

Got my exercise app subscription transferred onto my new phone, was easier than expected

The timer works on the meditation app on my phone so I can go back to using them

Remembered to post the compost bin out

Got the first part of the hedge done, & the trimmings all fit in the compost bin

Husband repaired the cord I cut through

Made it to Pilates & have plans made with a couple of friends

There's room enough to do it upstairs

Relaxing

 I seem to be sleeping better, thankful for that

Did husband a better fried egg today, & he cleaned the pan after

An easy day at work & I had time to play with calculations

The recording I wanted to watch became available

Glad husband enjoys playing board games with me

Managed to clear out a box of stuff, starting a new decluttering process

Was up & dressed for friend arriving

The cafe was nice, lots of options - had a smoothie

Friend enjoyed looking round & is looking forward to going again

Witnessed the milk dispenser, & the farmer was there to answer questions & talk friend through the process

Found some lovely plants I haven't seen elsewhere, & new garden centre seems cheaper than elsewhere

Place friend wanted to visit was on way home, we got parked & had an enjoyable wander

Had a good sleep, & woke at a sensible time

Got my return ferry booked

Friend replied about tomorrow, & we're off for a day out

Enjoyed my cosy corner, & looking at my cards

The weather's got nice

Heard back from contact & he doesn't need my help

Offered to meet mentoring friend & he instantly replied to say that would be great

The power cut was during daylight so we got to play bonus games

Have organised to stay at my parents on the way back, so I can book the ferry now

Very thankful I can do Flexi and start when I want to I got the sleep in without it mattering

Remembered to ask workmate about the toy for his son and he is thrilled to be getting it

Have messaged friend to make plans - done my bit

That I can put the light on and reading in bed without it disturbing husband

Got up early enough for a shower before work

Got in around the time I meant to

Meeting was delayed and when I complained and said I could have had breakfast the boss sent us for breakfast

Got back just before the guests arrived

Meeting was orderly - I survived the whole thing

Glad I suggested the lunch walk, it was a pleasant walk and talk & way better than sitting in the canteen

Husband finished just as I did so we came home

Glad I didn't have to deal with the software crisis - had set an out of office so I was undisturbed - the out of office was respected 

Husband has ordered some lovely chocolate, and I resisted overindulging

Have plans to meet friends and a plan for my trip home

Thankful the woods are nearby 

The weather was lovely and I felt better for being there

The playground was empty and I enjoyed time on the swing

Also the exercise machines area was empty and I got to play on my favourite swing machine

The plants are doing well and I got to sit out with them for a little while

Got straight to the servers in the canteen & managed to get a long table

The game husband's been looking at is available.on BGA so we can try it out

We have right size sleeves for the latest new game

Headphones last til just before lunch so I left them charging over the break while I didn't need them

Weather was nice for walking break and then husband was ready for a break once I got back so I got a bonus one, & we were inside for the worst of the rain

Finished the show we were watching and mostly satisfied by the ending

Managed to get parked at work

Had the quiet room to myself, glad I took my headphones too

Met the boss on the way back to the office and he let me into a hideaway til I felt better 

The others were concerned and also left me alone when I needed it

Managed to have a laugh too

Husband ordered us a new game that looks good

Work was better today

Breakfast was fun and not my suggestion, then I got back just as another team mate was going for a drink so I joined him.  Had a good catch up

Glad I didn't join them in the canteen for lunch.  I can fit under the end desks with my feet up on the drawers, is well hidden behind the chairs. 

The next audiobook came available today so I had a pleasant half hour listening to that

Also had a selection of tea breaks this afternoon And managed to work right through to 5pm after my hour off

Found some work I'd forgotten about from a while back

Had a good chat when we got to work, continuing the TV conversation from yesterday

Got my overdue item closed

Got invited for a walk with friends just when I needed a break

10am bacon perked us up, we were all ready for the break.  It was fun. And the bacon was perfectly done for me

I got my desk, & husband got a desk in the office too.

Got parked in the carpool space.

Lunch was fun too & I enjoyed the noodles

Came back from a walk just in time to catch the others going for air so I got to join them too

Got to leave earlier than expected

Enjoying the new game and has a solo mode for me to play when husband's not interested

Managed to discover the top half of the cross stitch is half stitches, before I'd done any wrong 😁

Friend told me about a few short story competitions for after I get my assignment done.  Even if I don't enter they look like interesting prompts.

Glad I have the freedom to nap and be off work as I need, and that I don't have many obligations or demands on my time

Had a laugh with workmates and managed to get started on my assignment.

Have made some progress with my map plots, and coloured some in by hand so at least I can perform some basic analysis on the data.

Got my lunchbag and special cup back

Survived staying late at work and there was no pilates to miss

Doing a reasonable job of spacing assignment with relaxing hobbies

Husband made me toast 

We were both thinking burrito box and enjoyed it, the chicken was coated which made it nicer

Am glad I got the angry story written, I feel calmer now
