Was up & dressed for friend arriving

The cafe was nice, lots of options - had a smoothie

Found some lovely plants I haven't seen elsewhere, & new garden centre seems cheaper than elsewhere

Got up early enough for a shower before work

Meeting was delayed and when I complained and said I could have had breakfast the boss sent us for breakfast

Glad I suggested the lunch walk, it was a pleasant walk and talk & way better than sitting in the canteen

Husband finished just as I did so we came home

Glad I didn't have to deal with the software crisis - had set an out of office so I was undisturbed - the out of office was respected 

Husband has ordered some lovely chocolate, and I resisted overindulging

Have plans to meet friends and a plan for my trip home

Thankful the woods are nearby 

The weather was lovely and I felt better for being there

The playground was empty and I enjoyed time on the swing

Also the exercise machines area was empty and I got to play on my favourite swing machine

Headphones last til just before lunch so I left them charging over the break while I didn't need them

Weather was nice for walking break and then husband was ready for a break once I got back so I got a bonus one, & we were inside for the worst of the rain

Breakfast was fun and not my suggestion, then I got back just as another team mate was going for a drink so I joined him.  Had a good catch up

Glad I didn't join them in the canteen for lunch.  I can fit under the end desks with my feet up on the drawers, is well hidden behind the chairs. 

The next audiobook came available today so I had a pleasant half hour listening to that

Also had a selection of tea breaks this afternoon And managed to work right through to 5pm after my hour off

Was online after hours for a few mins, & was well placed to deal with an issue.  Also the boss supported the decision I made & it worked out as being the right choice.

Husband had dinner ready for it ending, & we had time to watch tv before college

Less pressure this week than initially expected

Colleague helped me with a step I was stuck on

Collecting husband from work let me call in for half an hour to get screenshots

He printed me a heart fidget toy - & switched to red first - I worth the effort 🥰

Thankfully I got home and logged on just in time for a meeting I'd forgotten about

Had a laugh with a team mate

Passport process was straight forward

The latest envelopes I rescued were the right size 

The cross stitch kit I wanted is back in stock, have one going to my parents and another coming here

The next book was ready for when I finished the other one

Have figured out where I am with the rabbit and have done a bit of that today

Still have my sololearn account and it's stored my progress, remembered the basics so far

Enjoyed a relaxing day

Husband has found container plans and is happily creating tubs for gaming

Team meeting is fun.  Like my team mates and we have a laugh

Started executing my protocol - easy way to get productive.  Corrected a small oversight.  

Got out for a short walk in the sunshine

Got back from a different walk before the rain started 

Have brought in the parcel box and put more weight into the shed.  Also got my dragon into the big shed for safe keeping 

Remembered to ask the boss's question in the meeting.  He was as unimpressed by the new info as we were 

Have some worktime scheduled in with a friend tomorrow.  

Have plenty of hobbies that don't require electricity and lots of cosy clothes and blankets.

That we have jobs that let us work from home and the space to do so comfortably.

He'd offered to get a taxi so I didn't have to get up

Managed to catch up with most of my recent oversights

College was interesting & lecturer is going to do a basic python session for us
After I admitted to only having basic programming, other people did too

Boss acknowledged my ability to be able to visualise processes today, was happy for the compliment

Had a pleasant teabreak with team mate & got to sit outside where it was quieter & cooler

My headache's gone

Husband ordered the dinner I want

Home delivery arrived so I have lunch for tomorrow

Glad the weather was nice for my walk

Enjoyed the swing

Thankful the woods is nearby and accessible during a lunch break

Treated myself to hot chocolate and managed to grab time to make lunch 

Cleared off more of my backlog today

Have my headphones in my work bag ready for tomorrow

Husband's getting a taxi in so I don't need to get up early

Husband swapped dinner with me when I didn't like mine

He put an air purifier in the with the 3D printer - no fuss, just preemptively fixing a problem.

Progress

Lunch was good, spice boxes, and the chat was fun. We went back without just hanging around for the sake of it

Got to speak with both bosses

Got to catch up with friend, & advised on her work issues

Also got her to do some updates I wanted 

Fortuitous meeting with someone else that I wanted an update from - a promise it'll happen soon

The swing is getting collected, husband helped me get it into the front garden, & it didn't need dismantled

Also managed to remove the glass from the light fittings and they're out - with a backup plan if they don't get taken

Proud of myself (for the swing)

Managed to get everything done for work I needed and that I got my hours in for the week

Headache has gone

The next books in a series I'm working my way through is available tomorrow

Husband has binge watching plans with me and identifier the next few things to watch

Being able to have a lazy start to the day

Friend was free for lunch and we had a lovely chat & wander round the woods - better option than the gardens cafe

Am still on good form, reducing the antidepressants was the right move

Enjoying Christmas pudding, glad for supermarkets and convenience food.  The microwave and that the pudding was designed to be heated in one

Glad I noticed the custard was curdling before I put any of my Christmas pudding 

Found a spare thread holder for the mixed stitches 

The other two books in the trilogy are available and I've already added them to my reading list 

Glad I checked before heading back to work - saved myself a trip

The spot I'd selected for meetings worked reasonably well. 

Was interesting seeing all the comings and goings

Lunch was tolerable and there wasn't a walk.  There was bacon at the sandwich counter 

Caught up with a few people socially so it worth going in

Made it back online for the meeting and was good i attended 

Contact showed me the work list so I know what's coming up and where the unrealistic bits are

Realised my mistake in the cross stitch early enough to incorporate the extra column 

Caught the mistakes before I passed the document back out again

The printer is neat device, husband set it up while I was at work

Thankful I got space to clear my backlog last week

Everything is now moved on to the next stage

Have time to concentrate on next task now

Got my assignment submitted - before friend started reading it.  Am relieved it's gone

Glad I got out to the shops and back safely

That the chippie and the bakery were open so the trip was a success

Booked my half day for tomorrow to concentrate on the report

Made reasonable progress on it tonight, even after staring it at for a while uninspired.

For the heating and the ability to work from home, & that we're encouraged to do so

That the boss came instantly into a discussion when we needed him
