Survived the day

Had a good chat when we got to work, continuing the TV conversation from yesterday

Got my overdue item closed

That I get to come home & chill out

Got invited for a walk with friends just when I needed a break

Relief

10am bacon perked us up, we were all ready for the break.  It was fun. And the bacon was perfectly done for me

I got my desk, & husband got a desk in the office too.

Got parked in the carpool space.

Lunch was fun too & I enjoyed the noodles

Came back from a walk just in time to catch the others going for air so I got to join them too

Got to leave earlier than expected

Got the big chunk of work finished today

Got my purple curly hazel, & got it planted.

Enjoyed cafe trip with friends & was glad we didn't do the walk

Got mother's day card posted, prompted husband to spend the vouchers, & got myself lunches for the week

Agreed with boss I can make up hours next week

Team meeting was interesting today, am lucky to be in a good team

Got my assignment submitted, figured out how :)

Read back over tutor's comments on some of my stories & am motivated to write again

There are some interesting themes / prompts coming up

Enjoyed playing game with husband

Going back to an old favourite game this weekend

Wise

Glad I had snacks for lunch so got to chat with friend and avoid the food queue

Just caught contact in car park, happy to have given him the game and that I left lunch early with friend

Meet the others and got a bonus chat in

Also one is going to come to the work gaming club 

Glad I decided to leave husband at work and came home

Enjoyed the omelette I made myself

New game is fun

Have my assignment nearly finished - just tidying up to go

Friend got in touch to meet up on Saturday and I deserve a treat

 

 

Fun

Slept better, and had a lie in to finish my book

Glad it had a good ending 

Got parked right by the entrance in a car pool space

Got the room emptied when I needed it

The one who turned up in person said it was really informative and has learnt loads

She's also going to follow up with their tasks that need closing 

Discovered why they couldn't log on (weren't following the instructions)

Had a laugh with colleagues

Husband got me new treats to replace the ones I finished yesterday 

Am enjoying the new game and game solo a try which is also fun - would consider taking it to games night

Bonus

Thankful for the bonus day off

Made it to Lidl and back with husband

Thankfully I don't need to go to SuperValu til tomorrow

They had the fish pie we like so I bought them and a bag to bring them home

Found a fundamental flaw in my analysis to base the critical evaluation on

Very nearly finished the report, have the short questions done 

Enjoying the new game and has a solo mode for me to play when husband's not interested

Plenty of fruit today

Got through the day without a nap

Managed to discover the top half of the cross stitch is half stitches, before I'd done any wrong 😁

Baby steps

Got up and did a bit more on the report.  Have the first half of the short questions tidied up.

Am hopeful I can get enough done to scrape a pass

Husband ordered dinner while I had a nap, is enough left for lunch tomorrow.

New game arrived, has really nice pieces and I think the cards are fine not to sleeve, husband has agreed we can play it tomorrow

Supermarket was empty, we got all the bottles into the machine and I got a good parking space

Friend told me about a few short story competitions for after I get my assignment done.  Even if I don't enter they look like interesting prompts.

Glad I have the freedom to nap and be off work as I need, and that I don't have many obligations or demands on my time
