Creative hobbies

Glad we made progress on the disconnects.  

One of my contacts gave us the key detail that solved it.  

Husband sent an update on my behalf so the lab couldn't blame any lack of progress on me

Now it's back with them to provide actual details rather than rumours

Boss appreciated me staying late and I used it to justify finishing early today

Got another story submitted and decided against a couple of other submissions.

Love listening to audiobooks as I stitch and have several ideas for stories

Thankful for the library and the collections I have access to

Re-reading one of my stories as a final edit before submission, & had forgotten how much I enjoyed it.

Glad I have a body of work ready, & also plenty of ideas for new works.

Was online after hours for a few mins, & was well placed to deal with an issue.  Also the boss supported the decision I made & it worked out as being the right choice.
Also get brownie points for working late to sort it out

Enjoyed cross stitch as I sat waiting for messages

Husband got me dessert at dinner, & not at lunch so I had a reasonable cake intake today

Also have a few mouthfuls of cake left for tomorrow

Social

Got to the canteen early enough to beat the microwave queue

And when I got to my seat and found my food warm (not hot) there was a microwave still available 

We got to the hall in time for a good seat

Got out without much delay

Husband gave me his corn on the cob

The chicken he did for dinner was really nice

Had a laugh with colleagues 

Time for calm

Thankful to get to team meeting, have a laugh, & have a few mins to catch my breath

Got into a carpool space

Got to try hot chocolate with vanilla syrup & know not to do it again 😄
Am glad I had the opportunity to try it 
We got over to the canteen & back just in time for our meeting, was nice to have it in person, & the boss booked us a room

Caught up with someone to get their task closed just in time, & found out they're on holiday from tomorrow

Managed to trouble shoot the coding issue myself & catch back up with the lecture
& they're recorded so I can watch it again to see what I missed

That the meeting I was cross about is tomorrow not today, & it gave me the prompt to notice the ball class placeholder in my calendar run out, so I've created a new one

Made it home in time for ball class & enjoyed it, 
Husband had dinner ready for it ending, & we had time to watch tv before college

For enjoying cross stitch and having opportunity for calm
That I managed the day without xanax

Hobbies

Glad we live close to work & I can pop in for half an hour

Bonus cake

The others waited for me for teabreak & we had a laugh

Gaming was fun

Husband remembered he had a delivery coming & stayed home to receive it

Glad the other 2 turned up

Husband remembered to get me the yoghurts I like, even without me asking

Fun

Enjoyed chatting with friend

We walked past another open cafe so can suggest that next time 

The 2 tone filament arrived and husband printed the new toy I wanted

It's fab, and I can see it being a good gift for friends

Minor edits to improve my other flash fiction

Friend read my music story 

Sent the 2 flash fictions to tutor

Am thankful he was so encouraging and he offered to read work after we'd finished the course

Nice progress on the cross stitch and it's sufficient to just have a few of the major horizontal grid lines.  

Placed them early enough to recover the mistakes 

Writing

I got my story, once I sat at the pc and put some effort in it wasn't bad

Have sent it to a couple of friends for comment 

Revisited another friend's comments on my other work and am thinking about his suggestions for new storylines

Have found some more submission windows I want to hit

There are plenty of opportunities to submit work and I have loads of ideas for stories

Thankful to have the time to put into writing 

Husband got me treats with the shopping 

Remembered to get my patches and we had a bonus trip to the bakery

Managed to only eat half the eclair

Initially I satisfied myself with a yoghurt instead

Friend got in touch for a cafe trip tomorrow
