Recovering

Had a sleep-in which I'd been looking forward to
Can have the lamp on and read in bed without disturbing husband
Friend sent me on the advent calendar again
Finished the game campaign I was playing
Enjoyed updating my blogs & geeklists
Did some more college work, the content is interesting & accessible

Relaxing

Nothing important workwise & I was able to take it easy
Got a couple of things progressed
Glad I was online later to take care of a few things

Had a pleasant browse & got back to the car before the worst of the rain
Been enjoying a game I wasn't expecting to, & am doing well with it

Enjoyed discovering more play stats & creating the blog posts

Nice chat with husband

Lucky

Thankul I remembered to phone my mum, & she was glad of the call

Had a reassuring conversation with husband

Had a nice conversation with a colleague

Got some documents moving

Dinner was ready at a good time

Enjoyed snuggling on sofa with husband

Got one of the challenges finished 

Have decided to downgrade another

Thankful husband is sweet and considerate  

Heating

Managed to turn the radiator on 

Glad we have central heating and can affors to have the house warm

Today's meeting was better

Got some nice progress made today, just ticking over at work

When we go shopping on Saturday I can get the supplement before I run out

Enjoyed one of the games solo that I couldn't get husband to play

Finished the shawl

Remembered to phone my mum

Got my prescription  - enjoyed a pleasant walk round 

Fun catching up with an old workmate

Managed a nap when i got back from dropping husband off, and another before dinner

Ticking along nicely at work

Finally made myself hot chocolate and enjoyed it - relief

For having a cosy house and being able to affors the heating on

Very thankful to be working from home
Got out for a couple of walks - it was sunny and dry
Managed to start fitting declutter into the bin

More admin for the challenges, am pleased with the improvements I've made

Recovery

The curry was nice
I achieved an in-game goal I was after, the game was successful which was a relief after sinking so many hours into it
Got enough plays of another game to see me through the challenge
The latest ice-cream recipe is better
The brownie was nice, & I managed to save half
We got parked ok, & getting home was easier than expected
Feel better after a lazy morning
Have put my paper PnP cards in with sleeved cards for a game we never play & it's much better than just using the paper copies alone.

Frost had melted by the time we went out

Found friend's house ok, & it was where I thought it was

Gaming was fun, glad we went
Being able to finish work early & recover
Remembered to take the ice-cream & it stayed frozen
& friend was very happy with it
The machines finished cleaning in time for me to get a hot chocolate

Glad husband fixed the printer and we hace plenty of ink and paper etc.

Relieved the pressure is off at work - I can take my time fixing the protocol

Colleague got the urgent stuff taken care of

Husband stayed home and was here to receive his fish 

Plenty of time for hobbies

Remembered to put the compost out

Noticed some errors in my document in time to fix them before execution

Relieved the pressure's off so I have time to fix it properly

Logged in late to help a friend, seems she got sorted

Green spaces

It was dry this morning & I got to the gardens

I love that we have such nice escape places nearby

Was pleasantly empty & I enjoyed a slow meander around

Left before the rain

Enjoyed another game solo that I've been meaning to get to, & it plays quickly

Enjoyed another new blog and setting up some Geeklists for next year's challenges

The peanut butter ice-cream is lovely, & the sorbet is suitable for vegan friend

I finally changed the bedding & put most of my clothes away, & just remembered to empty the dryer

Husband got me a samosa for lunch, yum

He's also making ice-cream for me to gift

Enjoyed sorting out challenges and blogs, organising my games

Have got a new gaming blog drafted, very pleased with myself

Also enjoyed going through the images I've uploaded & adding notes to them as reminders

Have bought myself a new game, am pleased to have found it

Husband's ordered the attachment to print in several colours 

Made good progress on my college course too

Had breakfast with  friend, & caught up - pleased she's found somewhere to stay

It was someone's last day - Glad I caught them

Had a nice catch up with the boss, things are calm again

Another lie in and slow start, enjoyed taking my time

He came for a walk around the block with me

Managed to get the final document circulating and started some of my other backlog 

Got my H-index increased, found a monthly challenge I was missing and did really well, enjoyed it

Also enjoyed the  associated admin, updating geeklist items 

Husband played tinderblox at lunch which was fun

And we started a new show

I resumed the study- enjoying the bitesize videos

Feeling better and going in to speak with the boss tomorrow 

Gaming

The next important thing got progressed a step
Didn't have to deal with anyone, colleague took those tasks
Inspired choice for a filler game, went down well

Games night was fun

My new expansion arrived & I have it sleeved & ready to play
Discovered where my new challenge badge came from

Escape

Figured out how to use the whiteboard to create a tracker 

Have shared it with boss and he's happy to keep using it in progress meetings - there's going to be project meetings 

The pressure is easing up

Got out of a stupid meeting

For being able to take time away as I need it and had a pleasant walk around the lake

Having the car and freedom to just take off 

The new Waterproof husband got me fits ocer the fluffiest of tops

Being able to finish early and take a nap

For being able to do the crystal treatments, it worked a treat

Took a board game to volunteering - is reasonable multi-handed and I'm happy to keep it.

Have come to the end of the pink wool at the end of a row, not enough left to be tempted to start a new row

Husband let me have the curry & he had the fish

Being able to get up when I'm restless, & that I went back to sleep after
Husband gaming & watching TV with me 😍

I got enough done that I feel confident I can finish piece of work tomorrow, & that I didn't spend all weekend on it
Finishing painting the first set of cows - impressed
Have been enjoying thinking of opposites in the games I play

Am really enjoying the challenges & the admin of keeping various lists up to date
I feel calmer today

Magical

It was sunny & I took myself off to the gardens

• the weather was lovely
• I am mobile & healthy, sure footed to navigate the glen paths & do the 100 steps 
• having the car & the freedom to drive to these places (& the time)
• enjoyed gaming with husband
• the protocol execution seems to have gone smoothly
• was thinking of a friend today & feeling more compassionate towards her
• feel much better after the trip out

Space

Thankful to be able to message the boss to say I'm starting late
& that I was able to get myself recovered enough to work
One of the biggest tasks is no longer needed - what a relief!  Also that I hadn't put any work into it before it got cancelled
Managed to complete the thing I was aiming to finish today, & sooner than I expected so I have some space
Have a made a decent start on the next task, & realised & intercepted something that could have been an issue, thankfully no impact
Have the weekend to plod along with that, to take some pressure off next week
Enjoyed updating my challenge status & getting new badges

Treats

Managed a calm conversation with the boss

Thankful I have the freedom to step away from the computer and take time out

Friend came round for lunch and we had a good chat

She brought brownies - yummy

The fresh bread arrived in time for lunch 

Workmate agreed with my findings, so there a couple of calculations we can drop

Glad I work from home so I can hide from everyone 

Remembered to phone for my tablets in time to collect them for tonight's 

Husband enjoyed his burger 

Gaming was fun, glad I went 

Calmer

Relieved to get the hardest protocol done ans out for review

Things feel calmer today - like maybe we will get there on time 

The previous protocol came back with minimal comments so that was easily resolved and is back out for approval 

Workmate is working tomorrow so I can push things through sooner than I thought

Workmate and boss have been progressing my items as a priority and i've been left alone 

Glad I work from home and don't have to deal with anyone

Friend is coming for lunch tomorrow - be good to catch up but also for me not to have to go anywhere 

Made it the welcome seminar, course will be fine

Also made ball class which was fun 

Remembered the animals in the big box amd have separated them from the 2P box for painting, have been enjoying the painting

Also glad I started with the meeples because I don't think i'm interested enough to paint minis. 

Taking action

Husband made toast cos he knew we were inn a rush 

Made it to work in time for the first thing & it went ok 

Husband was free for breakfast and I got some calm with him  

The bacon and hash brown did me good 

Had a reasonable chat with the boss, kept reasonably cool

Off to the woods

Got a good chunk of work done after the woods, enough to be calm about the rest of the week

Weather was good for the woods - glad I went

Made it to pilates (most of the session)

Husband ordered Chinese as a treat 

 

Beach

The weather was lovely
I have a comfy reliable car & am happy driving - loving the freedom to be able to take off for the day
Found the beach & there was plenty of parking - enjoyed my splodge in the sea
Feeling a lot calmer after
They have decent toilets & hand washing facilities
Found my way home without needing the satnav - will be able to find my way there now too
Gaming was good, is nice to be invited & be part of a group.  Also proud of myself for admitting I'm not going to any of the pub sessions
Checked my phone just as husband was asking about ordering dinner, & he ordered me some

Woods

Got myself to the woods and felt better afterwards

The weather was mild, dry, & a lovely blue sky

The coffee van was still serving so I got a cuppa and had a seat to linger longer

Have made a nice start on the UX module
