Today

Today I am reminded of more things I take forgranted.  I have a lovely massage therapist who's a 10 minute drive away, & the chat is a huge part of the "treatment".  That I don't have to sacrifice to afford things like that.  The car is reliable.

I've taken husband to work early enough to avoid the traffic (whilst still getting a lie in) & am now ready to face my day.  The cake I made (which was fun to make) was well received at work. A benefit of taking husband to work on my day off is that the cake made it in too ;-)

I'm enjoying a leisurely morning & am off out with a friend in a bit.  Exercise & company & outdoors, a great kind of day.  I have friends.  Friends who enjoy doing similar things to me, & that I can just be with, enjoying their company.

ETA: I had a fab day with a mate.  I managed to peel my grapes when her kids weren't around so they'll never know.  We had a fab catch up.  I have an idea for my next blog post, based on being in situations by choice.  It was sunny, & stayed dry for us.  We just had enough change for the carpark & left 5 minutes before the expiry time (great prediction on the timing!)  the play area was empty enough for us to have our choice of apparatus, there was a little assault course that was big enough for us adults to play on.  I got to go on the swings!  The nest swing by myself, all of us on the caterpillar swing, & then the normal swing by myself, a well deserved break as everyone else was in the loo.  I got to encourage her, give her food for thought without an opinion, & just remembered to send her the link to my blog.  Turned around grumping at husband, he let me explain that it's not really him I'm grumpy with.  Thankful that he gave me a chance to not be grumpy, to reset & start over. Thankful he's easy to make up with.  The washer arrived while I was out (meaning the car wasn't in the way).  It's bedtime, my bed is cosy & inviting & I can go now & get back into my weekday routine.

I had a good day, got stuff accomplished, wandered in the sunshine.
On top of the paperwork at work (phew!)
Plenty of steps (15k!)  & enjoyed the chat at couch to 5k.

In a good mood, nicely sore from weights yesterday.
Bunnies are healthy & happy, saw them binkying around in the run.
Ate plenty of fruit.

Walk

• Had a lovely walk at the beach today
• there are loads of pretty places nearby
• I like the people & got a good mix of social and alone time to appreciate the scenery
• The weather was good to us
• arrived in good time after an easy drive
• the toilet was open (even though the café was closed, there's a separate toilet)
• got to the shop for milk

Time, unhurried

A lazy, relaxing day.
Get places early at an easy pace, chill
wander round the park in the sun, was good to be outside in nature just ambling along
Got the car replaced, thankfully not much of a wait & there was wifi
plans made & booked for the weekend

Got my first!  All that time studying, those holidays I took - worth it
Now just finding more ways to chill for the evening, jobs done, nap time perhaps :-)

Sun & fun

• got to the assault course no bother at all

chilli festival

• managed to get tickets
• the weather was good to us
• I knew that in advance & remembered suncream
• found my spare sunglasses, glad I had them
• found friend's house easily
• really enjoyed the cycle
• kept up with them
• strong & confident on the road
• the traffic was patient & kind
• so glad I didn't drive to the festival
• had a really fun day,
• got my 10k steps in wandering around
• 5 miles each way cycle, happy for the exercise
• discovered some new places to explore for walks
• tried loads of interesting food
• starting to make plans to go out & have fun
• am getting happier

Got bread & fed myself.
Got mum's birthday card posted - should arrive in time

New wublin released, schedule designed I love doing stuff like that :-)

had a lovely chat at the beach & the sun came out.  So did loads of people, was nice to see the beach busy, & I'm so glad it wasn't me driving.

& we got more soil & some turf for the bunnies, they're well spoilt.  Happy bunnies.

My week as co-ordinator on the project is over.  Hurray!

I had a lovely evening & day with a mate, the sun came out & we had a rather energetic walk.
158 active minutes!  Most of the walk was intense & we had a really good natter.
We escaped from some hostile cows, phew, & had an adventure exploring paths.

I found it!  I remembered the way, without having to consult the directions. 
Confident I know the way now.

Jesmond Dene

a mate told me about a carpark, & I found it & got a space!
& it's free to park there at the weekend.

I am thankful that the weather is good, that it was last night for the walk to the club.
Especially for good weather today & the past few days so the field I parked in was solid.
I am thankful we parked in the near field, & that we had a good day.

I am thankful for the sun, that makes the garden grow, that feeds the bunny & keeps them healthy & their teeth wearing.
I am thankful husband remembered to get meat out the steak defrosted & he cooked me yummy dinner as always.

I am thankful that the weather's good on a day we planned to be outside, also really pleased that we were inside yesterday when it rained.
Happy that I got my hair dyed, & loving the colour, & the shape is still good.
Happy that we got nice bread for our bacon butties,  & I still have some left!
Also happy husband got the good bacon & cooked me some for lunch :-)
Happy that I found him a smiley present & that he shared it, lush husband xxx
