Writing

Thankful assignment is done - phew!  Glad I got the second model working and I got some interesting results.  That I have actually managed to sit and run the models and write them up over the past few days.

Calm about the assignment, sure I've done enough to pass, & more than I expected

That maybe I will learn from this, and even if I don't, I know I can settle down to a task when I have.  Is useful to have this experience in reserve

Friend offered to read it, & now it's emailed I have a copy that I can access if anything happens to the pc

Ran a final experiment to fill a gap, & I can always join challenges & create a portfolio for myself

Enjoying having access to the uni library

Got to the chemist and back in a dry spell

Friend has a piece accepted for publication

Lazy Sunday

Remembered Pilates & it was a good session.

Got up in time to get my data loaded into the quicker runtime & ran a few experiments

Glad I check the assignment brief & have my sections in the right order now

Found an online LaTeX editor, and instructions for creating matrices

My needle magnet arrived, & my cross stitch needles are magnetic so that's good

Got through the shredding

Gaming friend got in touch so we're planning a session soon, glad it'll be after my assignment deadline

Hobbies

Husband invited me on a walk 

He got me some nice dinners in the shopping, & remembered the yoghurts I like.

Got some of my results and discussion done.

Have time to redo the first half of my experiments

Feeling better about the report now I have most of it sensible 

Enjoying the blanket and the cross stitch

And being able to study, & interested in things

Proud of myself for boundary this morning 

I had an interesting conversation with husband this morning prompted by a message I got

Work

Enjoyed being in work, am lucky to be in a good team with a sound boss.

Lunch was good with the others and I enjoyed the food.  Had a laugh.

Am pleased with my progress on the coding calls and implementation.  And team mate delaying his work to concentrate on mine just shows bad prioritisation on his part - not a poor reflection on me.  Glad the boss knows my strengths and trusts me to just carry on.

Am pleased I thought to check on the course that got removed at work, & I had the foresight to record the ID.  Got mine back and posted it for the others.

Thinking of little treats for myself.  Am glad there are so many things I enjoy.  Cross stitch, reading writing, the cards.  

Did a reading for myself tonight and resumed journalling.  Glad I have resources like masses of notebooks and pens.  That I can afford bigger treats if I want too.  If I need a treat all I need to do is read in bed...

For having the computer and access to Google and other people's code, & the Google AI for the trouble shooting etc.  There are plenty of resources available if I decide to try my hand at coding after this diploma.  I have plenty enough challenge outside of work to compensate for things being a bit stagnant, and more opportunities will come up soon enough.

Company

For the portable tyre inflator, & it was dry when I pumped up the tyres. There's time before the NCT for the sensor to reset.

I managed a few mins with the boss and all is well, as usual.

Kept my early finish and used the time to try the second model.  Thankfully I got that working & now have sufficient for my report.  There are also some ideas for how I might get my original model - I have the luxury of time and being able to decide whether or not to do that.

There's still time for me to write a crossroads piece if I feel like it.

Enjoyed being in work, sharing frustrations - solidarity.

A team mate gave husband a lift, knowing I wanted to finish early today & we'd all be onsite together.

Relax

Another lazy day, happy to be working from home

Managed to find some information in a few mins.  Was glad of the challenge and that I passed! 

Managed to sit and run some code for my assignment.  Even if it doesn't work then I at least have something to show.

Husband cut my lucky bamboo for me and it's a much better size now

Got my execution finished and am starting on drafting the next protocol.  Gradually getting through them.

Fun

Found enough work to fill the day 

Moved a few things along 

Finished in time for ball class which was fun and husband finished in time to give me the lounge

Enjoyed sitting on the ball through meetings

Glad we have enough space for a room each and that I can do things like sit on the ball

Insurance renewal came through 

Saturday's class is cancelled so I have the whole weekend for my assignment.
