Hope

Thankful I got to have a word with my boss while the office was empty, & that he was free later on when I needed help.  & that I made a couple of decisions.

That the project moved on & am happy to be productive.  That the boss has ruled that we will follow the instructions as told & that was a good meeting too, & I enjoyed chatting with lab friend.

& that we have a plan to get the project back on track.

Husband automatically made me hot chocolate again :)

Is likely I will get tomorrow off, & even if I don't, I know the boss did his best to accommodate me. 

That I got my library books returned & new ones collected, & there wasn't a fine.  Even though I was nearly twice as long as I thought I'd be, I still got home before the food.

Husband

Thankful for another lazy day.

Husband doing the cooking, & snuggling on the sofa, I even got a second episode out of him tonight.  Glad he's so sweet & cuddly.

For friends to chat with & air my thoughts.

That we have plenty of space and time to ourselves, that I am easily entertained and can read & write & there are plenty of hobbies I have that I enjoy.

That as much as we complain about the weather, really it's tolerable & rarely extreme.

Husband calm

Thankful I had a pleasant walk to the town, & back.

That I got the present finished.

For having friends to chat with and husband for support.

That he looks after me and cooks for me, taking care to create meals I will enjoy.  

For a house and hobbies and that we live somewhere safe and quiet.  For the opportunities I've been blessed with. 

Calm

Enjoyed the wedges at lunch, nice to have a team to socialise with, & we all fit round the table.

That I got a decent chair & managed a full workday.

Got everything I needed to closed before the end of the week, phew!

Caught a few mins with my boss & everything's ok.

Am calm & happy, & enjoyed catching up with friends tonight.

For being able to take it easy, & that there was nothing challenging workwise.

Kept my cool when everyone wanted me at once...

& that I perked up today.

That I can lie down / nap during the day, & set my own schedule and tasks

That we have hot water and safe drinking water, & heating.

For the house, & furniture & access to the supermarket & everything we need.

That it's bedtime

Reading

Glad to lie in bed and read & start my day whenever I feel like it.  & I got to rest at lunch time. That I went into work with husband & got done what I needed to.  Also glad I came home rather than waiting to take care of the urgent thing. & we got to the car before the 

Had a nice catch up with a workmate in an empty meeting, & I held my tongue about things I didn't need to complain about.

Survived the dull meeting, & managed to get a couple of things progressed.  Baby steps.  Can be calm & unconcerned if I choose to be - must remember that.

Made it to Pilates & we had a laugh.

That I have no obligations, & I got to read my book in bed again tonight.  That husband sorts out the food & I have a comfortable life.

woods & flowers

Fortunate to have woods nearby & that they have a miraculous effect on me.   That I got onto the swings when they were empty & the shower soon blew over & I got a pleasant walk around.  

Thankful to friend for identifying flowers for me, & to chat with.  We keep each other entertained.  & having seen flowers at the woods I then called into the sensory gardens on the way home.  The guy there would have let me in free since it was late in the day (& told me not to rush cos he was staying past closing).  He saw me pick up the tourist trail guide when I left & we started talking about places - he recommended the fort that the woman sat next to me at the lunch event had.

That I'm enjoying my book.  For belonging to the library & free interlibrary loans here.  For the variety of books available (including the borrowers - written in the 60s!).  That I love reading & have loads of free time to indulge my hobbies.
