weekend

I caught the trains problem free,
discovered a new park as I was walking from the station which delayed me long enough for mate to come & collect me.
Very thankful for the lift to & from the celebrations on Saturday, & that there was fruit & I enjoyed the dinner.
Home ok, bunnies good.
Enjoyed good food & company

Rationalised

I am pleased with myself.  I am calming down, I know & implement the strategies (& it's not just colouring in).  I have worked to alleviate my insecurity at work & can park those thoughts over the weekend.
I've checked I can log into my favourite sites with the tablets & that's coming with me.  I've also got time to charge it ;-)

People

I have been messaging a friend with snippets of good & remembered to post here.
One of my friends took me for a cuppa & a chat which turned into a bite to eat.  All enjoyable, especially since husband's away & I probably wouldn't've been inspired to eat otherwise.
Neighbour is minding the bunnies for me & I've shown her what to do & we had a quick catch up.
Husband arrived safely & enjoyed his extra legroom on the flight

I still get excited about things.  I am finally on top of all the tasks on my list at work, & am still inspired by husband's idea.  I also have plenty to show my boss that I have loads of work to do.

My brother's coming to visit & is planning a treat day out for us.
Mate is giving me a lift on Saturday & has put effort into my visit.

Escape

I escaped at lunchtime with a friends.
Friends are good, escape is good.  Lots of good conversation today, & I enjoyed my day.  Glad to catch up with friends, glad to cheer up a friend.  Glad to have cheer to share.

Big hugs with husband, & he remembered the shopping I wanted.  Managed to find a couple of things for a present I should've taken care of earlier.
Friend was really early & got us tickets to Pilates, happy for the new class she's introduced me to.

Happy to have a home to come home too, & husband's here 😍

Happy Days

1. I found the card I need for Saturday - phew!
2. Husband came & made me hot chocolate without being asked.
3. I started the conversation about who's going to the works party
•  it seems like a few people are.
4. I had a good meeting with my boss, he can see what I'm doing.  
• I am getting more prepared, & going in with more to show him & discuss.
5. I am going out for lunch with a friend tomorrow, thankful I have friends at work, & that I enjoy my work.
6. Still getting compliments about my hair
7. made my 10k steps, had a good walk / dino hunt
• found a few of the ones I haven't seen recently
8. neighbour is back, just need to check she's happy to mind the bunnies
• thankful I have good neighbours
9. Husband has given me some ideas about how to record & track my projects / progress
• Boss has agreed I can get the T-card board I want to implement husband's ideas.
• Thankful I had the chance to pick the desk I did & rearrange that part of the room & give myself so much wall space!  
• Very thankful we don't hot desk or have a clear desk policy 😁

Working life

I mostly like my job.  Another job where I quietly cracked on with documents.
Plus the only people who commented on my hair were positive about it.  I'm so glad I kept my fringe!

Had a nice chat with a few people today.
Husband took me out for dinner.  Got to the shop in a break in the rain.

It's cooler, the rain is pleasant/

People

yesterday I had a fab day, awake early, reading in bed.
Thankful I can read, that I have books, that the room's light enough to read in, that husband put shelves by the bed...
& we got up & got chores out of the way.  & I braved town, arrived safely, met people, enjoyed talking to them, was sensible & came home when they moved onto the serious drinking - proud of myself.

Husband got me a kindle, in time for my travels :-)  & I ironed his shirts while he watched a film with me.  Meeting friends was fab as always & I've had loads of compliments on my hair.
Got my train tickets for the weekend.  Bunnies are well & happy.  Husband is well & happy.  All is well.
