everyday acts

had a laugh today,
got to see what someone else does in their job, & that was useful for me.
made some progress in my work & figured out a little bit more of what I'm doing
someone else has agreed to do bits of their work,
the sun was shining & everyone else seemed to be in a good mood too
got another dinosaur sticker given away to someone being proactive in a useful way

lunch

I remembered about Mother's day in time to get my mum a card in the post.
Thankful there are shops close by, & a post box, & that I have plenty of stamps.

Also thankful husband helped me carry out a good turn today.  I offer to bring lunch back for a few people with no consideration of how I would carry it all.  Husband to the rescue :-D

The bunnies had their annual check-up & vaccinations, they are happy & healthy.  The vet was pleased with them.  They were easy to catch & put in their carrier, & husband helped me with that too.

He made lovely dinner for us.

Success & progress

I got a chunk of work finished.  I can move on to the next & leave other people to do their bit now.
I have some feedback about a report, it means someone's read it!  That's good news.
I have some "completed" items on my tracker, I'm in a strong position for my next meeting with my boss.
It's so nice having husband home.
Chatting to a couple of friends, was good catching up.

Insights

The roads are mostly clear & I got out to catch up with a friend.
Tracked care package to a mate that didn't get delivered.  Hopefully she can intercept it in time before it gets returned to me.
Had a lovely chat with a friend this morning, helped me get some thoughts in order, as hopefully I did for her.
I'm going to make tea.  Got some steps in on the way to the corner shop, & I just snuck in before closing!  The people in the corner shop are great, & quite often let people sneak in late.  Always cheerful & willing.
Got a mini colouring book that'll fit into my lunch bag.  Just in case there's no-one around for lunch anytime.

Shops

I got the bunnies cleaned out in a dry spell.
& we made it to the shops for supplies, the town was pretty clear.
We now have plenty of beer & chocolate, all of which made it safely into the house
I'm enjoying colouring in & reading, thankful I have indoor hobbies.

I shut this tab down halfway through writing, thankful it saved as a draft.
Husband was cold & sneezing yesterday & seems recovered now.

Another good day

I like my workmates, & we have fun together.

I turned up to the meet the managers & had a decent chat with them.

Made reasonable progress with my report.

We made it safely to work, early & productive.

Husband has found me something I like from his favourite pizza place.

I have plenty of steps today.

safe & warm

Listening to the storm, glad to be inside.
The roads were clearer & emptier today, driving was easier.
Husband's on his way home having managed to get a seat on a train & leave the South.
I made progress on my report, thinking time yesterday so it all fell into place today, & I have stage 1 of my project complete.
Stage 2 might require some revision of stage 1, I will be wiser for the next cycle.
I cancelled at meeting so got my best focus time back which really helped me crack on with that.
The meeting is rearranged for a time when I'll be better prepared for it.
I phoned the cook at work to check breakfast was on, & it was so she put aside the well done bacon for me.  Because breakfast was served all day I even had a bonus sausage at lunch.
I was wondering whether to speak to someone at their desk today, they saw me dithering by the door (far enough away to not be hovering) & smiled so I went over & we had a really good chat.
